Back to Porto

At the end of another Camino, it would be interesting to spend a couple of days in Santiago de Compostella. The city is full of history and interesting things to see.

After spending one night there, we needed to get back to Porto for flights back to the USA the next day. We got up, did some final shopping and sightseeing, then walked to the bus station. The streets were very quiet in the morning.

The ride back to Porto took about four hours. We stopped in a few towns along the way. People said that the drive is just about 2.5 hours by car without stopping. That's quite a contrast from the 11 days it took for our walk!

Having already spent a day in Porto, we decided just to hang out at the Sheraton in Porto.

With an upgrade to the Sheraton Club, we had a very nice time relaxing before the long flights home.
